Archipelago is a clean, well equipped and maintained example of Ted Hood's Bristol 38.8.
The design of the 38.8 was so well thought of that the Bristol 3800, Wauquiez Hood 38 and the Little Harbor 38 are all based on this same hull design.
With a Keel / Centerboard, her draft can go from 4.5' to 10.3' with her board down.
Archipelago is what Bristol called the "Aft Cabin" version, however, she has the V-Berth of the Standard version. Her interior woodwork is in extremely good condition. Her cushions were custom made and they're a tasteful shade of green that goes perfectly with her beautiful cabinetry. It's also a nice departure from the "traditional" blue.
The 38.8 also has one of Ted Hood's best Head layouts for a boat of this size... It's Huge.
The Bristol 38.8 has retained it's value as a result of superior build quality, solid reputation and a devoted owner base.
Archipelago is VERY solid, fully equipped, with a beautiful interior and ready to go...
