A good many offshore anglers once considered the Black Fin 27 Combi the standard by which other pocket fishermen were measured. Heavily built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a sharp entry, reverse outer chines, and plenty of bow flare, the Combi is simply a great rough-water boat. In terms of layout, the cockpit takes precedence over the cabin. With some 60 square feet of usable fishing space, theres plenty of room for a couple of busy anglers. Raised engine boxes provide easy access to the motors (while doubling as convenient seats for watching the baits), and the outboard well is secured with a full-height transom gate that lowers for the engines to tilt up. Below deck, the nicely appointed cuddy features a marine head, sink, V-berth, and near-standing cabin headroom. Reliable Cummins 210HP diesels provide a 21kt cruise burning 14 GPH.
