Like all Jerseys Jersey Girl has a solid fiberglass hull. She is a "battle wagon" fishing platform with a cruising speed of 20-21 knots with great rough water performance (40,000 lbs and a flared hull that keeps her dry). The cockpit is 125 sq ft and is partially covered by an extended custom awning with an attached bimini that can be folded away for fishing. The flybridge is positioned for ideal visibility both fore and aft and is equipped with excellent electronics.
As a cruising boat she has all the amenities a family could want. The main salon is bright and roomy and nicely decorated. The galley is four steps down, has a nice parquet floor and is fully equipped with a new full size refrigerator/freezer, a washer, microwave, electric cooktop and oven. The dryer is in a teak cabinet in the salon. The salon has a Bose AM/FM disc player. Forward are the guest and master staterooms both with overhead hatches, ensuite heads with fresh water toilets and stall showers. The owner uses the guest stateroom only as a large storeroom. Traditional teak bulkheads, trim and furniture are complimented by beige Ultrasuede valences and soft wall panels. The interior has air conditioning, heat and a central vacuum system.
