The 1995 Island Packet 40 Dream Flower is a classic bluewater cruiser that has been thoughtfully upgraded by her current owners. Designed by Robert K. Johnson and built by Traditional Watercraft in Florida, the IP 40 is known for its solid fiberglass construction, full keel stability, and comfortable cutter rig—making her an ideal choice for passagemaking or extended coastal cruising.
This vessel has benefited from numerous recent improvements, including new standing rigging (2025), a lithium battery bank with a Victron management system (2024), an upgraded Balmar high-output alternator, inverter/charger, two new air conditioning units, and fresh bottom paint.
