Originally launched 2002 as ZEUS, this Northern Marine was purpose built to cruise far and wide with all the comforts of home. The Sound Endeavor traveled south from Whittier, AK back to the Northern Marine refit facility in Anacortes, WA and has spent the last year in the building with the intent of having all of the running rigging and house systems refurbished, updated and replaced. The Sound Endeavor was recently relaunched with a fresh coat of paint!!
Items below were recently completed during the refit period at the Northern Marine factory:
New Awlcraft paint on entire vessel
Black and grey water pumps serviced
Water makers serviced and filters replaced
Kabola hydronic heating system serviced
Hydraulic system tested and serviced with new fittings and hoses on the main distribution block.
Propeller sent out for a clean up and tune
New PSS dripless shaft seal
New bottom paint.
New stern rub rail
New chain wash pump
New hot water heater
Top end rebuild on the Cummins QSK 19
Service on all three generators including PTO rebuild on 27KW Onan generator.
Fire suppression system rebuilt and recharged
New LED lighting in Engine room
New carpet and luxury vinyl flooring in lower staterooms and laundry area
New cutlass bearing
Hydraulic bow thruster motor rebuilt
