2008 54 Hatteras 54 Convertible “Lady A” is a three-owner boat which was kept in freshwater until 2018 spending more than half her life on Lake Michigan. While in Michigan “Lady A” was in the water from May until October annually and then stored in a private indoor heated storage building the rest of the season. In October 2018 the current owner purchased this Bristol condition Hatteras 54 Convertible with only 625 original hours at the time of purchase. “Lady A” was relocated to Orange Beach, AL under the direction of a season owner. At the time of the relocation the owner took a cruising Hatteras 54 and upgraded her with all the modern fishing amenities. The upgrades included two new GARMIN MFD’s, all new Dometic HVAC units, Dometic Eskmio Ice chipper, Watermakers Inc watermaker, Release Marine Battle Saddle, ElectroSea, PipeWelders outriggers, custom transom livewell, and custom ice chipper ice dump. Powered by Caterpillar C-32, 1550 hp diesels “Lady A” will top out close to 40 knots easily cruising 32 knots. Thompson Tractor completed a 1,000-hour engine service with aftercooler core replacement May 2025. The Onan 21.5kw generator is the perfect size to run and power all the systems onboard. The Hatteras 54 offers a three stateroom, two head layout with a large galley, salon and dinette. The flybridge includes a full suite of electronics, a custom hardtop and new four-sided enclosure with new Dometic HVAC to keep you cool on the long overnight fishing trips. The cockpit has factory mezzanine seating, twin Glendinning re-coilers, refrigerated drink box and mezzanine bait freezer. She had bow and stern thrusters with remote installed in 2015. "Lady A" also has the desired underwater exhaust, forced air induction from the cockpit (no hull side vents), and factory mezzanine seating with ample storage in the cockpit.
