Joystick Docking
The 2019 Intrepid 475 Sport Yacht, “DAMN LUCKY” comes equipped with a joystick control system, integrated with the Yamaha outboard engines. This feature significantly enhances the boat’s maneuverability, especially at low speeds, making docking and close-quarters handling much easier. The joystick allows you to control the boat’s movement in all directions – forward, backward, sideways (crab walking), and rotation – with a simple push or twist. The joystick system is integrated with the Yamaha outboard engines and often the GPS system.
