"Offshore High" is a 2023 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440 equipped well beyond the standard build. Originally commissioned by a professional sailing school and delivered new in December 2022, this 44-footer was outfitted from day one with the systems and upgrades serious cruisers demand — generator, air conditioning with ElectroSea raw water treatment, bow thruster, solar, and a full sail inventory including a top-down furling Code Zero. She's ready to step aboard and go.
ON DECK & UNDER SAIL
Jeanneau's walk-around deck design and integrated bowsprit give you clean, safe footing from cockpit to anchor locker. The split backstay and forward-mounted traveler keep the cockpit wide open — room for a crew of six without tripping over hardware. Dual helm stations with full instrumentation put you in control from either side, and with 17 clutches leading all lines aft, she's genuinely manageable shorthanded.
The sail plan is versatile: a roller furling genoa handles the everyday work, a classic mainsail with lazy jacks gives you reliable upwind power, and the top-down furling Code Zero turn light air into real miles. One electric and one manual halyard winch, Harken manual primaries, and three electric winches round out the package.
BELOW DECKS
The 440's interior is bright and airy with Jeanneau's signature light wood joinery. The layout is convertible from three to four cabins with two electric flush heads — plenty of privacy for extended cruising with guests. The main salon seats six comfortably around the dining table, with a well-appointed galley to port and a dedicated nav station. Storage is generous throughout.
Three independent air conditioning units with an ElectroSea biofouling preventer keep the interior comfortable year-round in Florida waters without the headaches of clogged raw water strainers.
SYSTEMS & MECHANICAL
The Yanmar 4JH45 delivers 45 horsepower through a straight shaft with a dripless seal — proven, reliable power for this hull. The engine currently shows 1,133 hours. A Quick electric windlass with chain counter handles the Delta 20kg anchor on 32 meters of chain and 45 meters of rode. The bow thruster makes close-quarters docking straightforward, and the electric swim platform provides easy water access and dinghy loading.
Additional systems include an onboard generator (approximately 65 hours).
CANVAS & EXTERIOR
Full canvas package — bimini, dodger, and connector — provides shade and weather protection from cockpit to companionway. The cockpit features a folding table, cushions, and a hot/cold cockpit shower.
